If the figure inside the brackets (x)
is not a hieroglyph,
then you need some additional fonts - if a hieroglyph
is visible then you have the necessary fonts. To
down-load the fonts, right click on the links and
select "Save Target As". Select your font
directory (which is usually c:\windows\fonts) and save
the file. Repeat this for all of the six fonts.
To check that this works click
Hieroglyphs
which should now show Hieroglyphs.
