Ostracon, Pottery fragment with Saidic Coptic (a Coptic dialect centred in the Theban area) written in black ink on the outside surface of the pot. The pot was already broken and was re-used as writing material by Markos - who asked a 'holy father' to send him incense through a person called Kyriakos. The Museum's web site reports that there are three lines of text written on the inside surface.
