Fragment of earthenware pottery with an image painted onto the inside surface of two lions (one in red and one in black). The images are overlaid (the red painted over the black) suggesting that the artist re-drew the image. In the original image the black Lion is passive, in the second red image the Lion is roaring with it's tongue and teeth visible. The piece is dated to the New Kingdom.
