Limestone lintel from Armant inscribed for Ahmose I, founder of the 18th Dynasty (EA 1708). Ahmose is shown twice making offerings to Montu and is wearing the red-crown of lower-Egypt (the north including the Delta) and the white-crown of upper-Egypt (the south including Thebes and Elephantine). The dual crown indicate that he has unified Egypt.
