Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore. The respect that this cemetery is maintained with is visible throughout the area and, like so many of the Commonwealth Cemeteries, it is carefully tended. The silent rows of stones mark the sacrifice that was paid by people from many counties and religions. Let's not forgot the survivors of this brutal conflict, both civilians and soldiers, who carried the burden for their entire lives.
