Yellow limestone statue of Prince Khune-Ra. Giza, quarry cemetery of Men-Kau-Ra (ruled 2532-2503 BC during the 4th Dynasty and is the owner of the third and smallest of the great pyramid on the Giza plateau). When the stone for the internal block of the pyramid were excavated a 'hole' was created. Into this 'hole' rock cut tombs were excavated for retainers and family members of the King. Khune-Ra was the son of King Men-Kau-Ra and Kha-Merer-Nebty II. The prince in sitting cross legged in the pose depicting a scribe, he also was shown on a relief as a small boy with his mother.

Boston Museum of Fine Art. The piece was excavated in 1930.
