Red granite head of Seshem-Nofer II from Giza, tomb G 2200 B. Dating to the 5th Dynasty during the reign of Ni-User-re. His titles include Royal Architect and Overseer of Royal Document Scribes. The head originated from a life-sized statue which was within his Serdab - but late it was smashed and thrown into a nearby burial shaft. The face retains some red paint on the eyes.
